Breaking out the welder:

It’s time for that rear lip to die. Luckily, Mike is a man of many talents. I haven’t found anything he can’t do yet… other than maybe laundry. 😉

We started by cutting it off in sections.

Center left attached.

Burnt paint.

Getting close.

Idea of the ledge left.

Welded up the taillight holes too.

A bit of sanding and bondo and this will be pretty sweet!

Job done for today.
